Refund policy

If you would like to cancel your order, you are free to do so if you'd like. Once an order is placed, processing time is 3-5 business days until parts are ordered. There are a few options for cancellation depending on multiple factors, please review the different options below.

Custom Retrofitted Headlight Order Cancellations

  1. Full Refund: Before parts/materials are ordered from suppliers. Refund total will consist of purchase price less any fees incurred from transaction.
  2. Partial Refund: After parts/materials are ordered. Refund total will consist of purchase price less any fees incurred from transaction, parts/materials cost at MSRP and shipping costs. Note: If customer cancels an order after parts and materials have shipped from the supplier to Vivid Optics Retrofit LLC, there is no refund available on the parts and materials ordered. Once order is cancelled, parts and materials for order will be sent to customer once they arrive at Vivid Optics Retrofit LLC. Once parts and materials are shipped to customer, partial refund will be applied. Shipping costs incurred for shipping parts and materials to customer will be deducted from total refund amount.
  3. No Refund: After parts are installed. Once parts are sourced and installed by Vivid Optics Retrofit LLC, there is no option for a refund

Restoration/Repair Service Cancellations

  1. Full Refund: Before parts/materials are ordered from suppliers. Refund total will consist of purchase price less any fees incurred from transaction. 
  2. Partial Refund: After parts/materials are ordered. Refund total will consist of purchase price less any fees incurred from transaction, parts/materials cost at MSRP and shipping costs.
  3. No Refund: After services are performed. Once Restoration/Repair services are performed, there is no cancellation available. 

Prebuilt Product Order Cancellations

  1. Full Refund: Before parts/materials are ordered from suppliers. Refund total will consist of purchase price less any fees incurred from transaction. 
  2. Partial Refund: After parts/materials are ordered. Refund total will consist of purchase price less any fees incurred from transaction, restocking fee and shipping costs. Note: Fees and return policies vary depending on the product and the supplier of that product.

Note: Please contact Vivid Optics Retrofit LLC with any concerns you may have regarding cancellations or refunds. If there are any defects caused by Vivid Optics Retrofit, we will be happy to explore options to either repair or refund you to make things right. For any defects or damages to retrofitted products within the products specified warranty period, please contact us for a repair estimate.

If your order cancellation or refund is accepted, we will email you with further instructions and details about your refund. Any items sent to us without first contacting us will not be accepted.


Damages, Issues, and Warranty Claims
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Every set is fully inspected before leaving Vivid Optics Retrofit LLC. This inspection includes:

  1. Ensuring there is a good seal on the light housings to prevent moisture and debris from entering.
  2. Testing every light function available(including both OEM and aftermarket functions).
  3. Taking photos and videos to display functionality and modifications completed. (Applicable for custom built products only)
  4. Confirming every part needed for retrofitted products is included before shipping to customer.

For warranty claims, product replacement is free for the part itself during the specified warranty period for that product. All costs incurred to repair the warrantied product are to be paid by the customer to Vivid Optics Retrofit LLC before product is returned to the customer. These costs may include but are not limited to taxes, shipping, handling, restocking fees and labor for Vivid Optics Retrofit LLC to repair your product.

Any lens restoration service performed has a 1 year warranty(365 days since service performed) for any peeling/chipping of clear top coat on lenses or the return of hazy lenses within the warranty period.

Any housing reseal service performed has a 1 year warranty(365 days since service performed) for any condensation, debris, or anything else that may enter the inside housings within the warranty period. Note: The headlight reseal warranty is only valid for defects in the headlight seal due to work performed by Vivid Optics Retrofit LLC. If the buyer alters the seal of housings in any way that can allow foreign objects to enter the inside housings, warranty will be null and void. These alterations could include but are not limited to removing a bulb and not replacing it, taking off a housing cap and not securing it properly and any modifications done to the housings that could diminish the integrity of the headlight seal.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and reviewed your request to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
